The Witness Service helped Nathan when the case was brought to trial
Victim Support helped Nathan Mason in court after he'd been the victim of a vicious knife attack.
“It was daunting to have to go to court for the first time, but Victim Support helped me with my statement, and they also sorted out a date for me to see the courtroom beforehand. I was asked if I would like to give evidence via a live video link and was shown how I would be seen in court if this happened. They also made me feel comfortable while I was waiting to give evidence.
“After the court case ended, Victim Support helped me with my criminal injuries compensation form.
“All the way through Victim Support asked me how things were going, if I had any issues, and whether I felt I needed any more support, including counselling.”
